INSPECTIONS AND TESTS :

PURCHASING :

  • Acceptance inspection of raw materials
The raw materials are checked upon acceptance, then are stored and identified after agreement from the production planning manager. Spectrometric analysis of the raw material is performed through an audit to make sure it complies with chemical requirements. Raw workpieces (oxy-cut pieces, forgings, etc) are also checked using raw materials acceptance procedures.
  • In-progress inspection
All productions (except the tooling ranges) have the self-inspection cards. Moreover, full dimensional inspection of the products is performed through sampling, as per agreements with our customers.
  • Inspection, before and after sub-contracting
All production (except the tooling ranges) has a self-inspection cards. Moreover, full dimensional inspection of the products is performed through sampling, as per agreements with our customers.
  • Final inspections and tests
The control department makes sure all manufacturing steps have been accomplished, then carries out more inspections as per Deville’s procedures and customer’s contract-stipulated requirements.

  • Purchasing control
A list of suppliers and sub-contractors able to meet Deville’s requirements is regularly updated (price, quality, delivery deadlines). Suppliers and sub-contractors are subjected to random statistical assessment (not periodical updating) through a preliminary questionnaire, audit and dynamic assessment (quarterly updating).
  • Product identification and tracking
Products are identified through their various production stages (acceptance, material, manufacturing, sub-contracting, inspection, shipping).
  • Process control
A Quality Inspection Department insures that all of the manufacturing processes are implemented in such a way as to guarantee the reproducibility and quality of the products manufactured following manufacturing specifications and procedures.
